Fleur Cowles is best remembered as the founder and editor of the gorgeous magazine named Flair, a publication so beautiful and unique that in the cost of producing it drove it off the newsstands. Flair remains popular today despite its short life. After the magazine was canceled Cowles created this hardcover annual with many of the same charming touches reader loved. Here we have big fold-outs, a cut-out front cover, and an exquisite little booklet bound-in titled "The Flower of Flowers by the celebrated author Katherine Ann Porter. Among the topics here are Walter Winchell, calligraphy, Valentines, travel to London, artist and much more. 229 pages. Fold-outs, pop-ups, die cuts and extra gatefolds galore.
